Nathan Thrall is a Jerusalem-based Middle East Analyst at the International Crisis Group. He has written for The New York Times, The New York Review of Books, The New Republic, GQ, and Slate. He is a contributing editor to Tablet Magazine and a former member of the editorial staff of The New York Review of Books. He holds an M.A. in political science from Columbia University.
